I painted at home this still-life that shows the way the table remains when your guests have left and it's your turn to clear out.

He pintat a casa aquest bodegó que mostra com queda la taula quan els convidats han marxat i et toca a tu recollir.

This is the last still-life I painted at the workshop with the idea of showing it at the exhibition that La Colla and l'Agrupació will open next Wednesday 26.


Aquest és el darrer bodegó que he pintat al taller, amb l'intenció de mostrar-ho a l'exposició que La Colla i l'Agrupació inauguraràn el proper dimecres 26.

El Liceu

Avui amb La Colla hem tornat a La Rambla, on he aprofitat per fer aquesta aquarel.la de la façana del Gran Teatre del Liceu. El Liceu és el temple sagrat de l'ópera a Barcelona, però de vegades també s'hi han deixat caure cantants populars, com ara Lluis Llach, i inclús alguna folcklòrica com la Pantoja.

The Liceu Opera Theatre

Today with La Colla we went back to La Rambla, where I took advantage to paint this watercolour of the façade of the Gran Teatre del Liceu. El Liceu is the sacred temple of the opera in Barcelona, but now and then some popular singers, such as Lluis Llach, have dropped in, and even some folkore singers such as Pantoja.

Un encàrrec

Una bona amiga, que de mica e mica s'esta convertint en la major col.leccionista de la meva obra (!!!), m'ha encarregat que li pinti aquesta aquarel.la a partir d'una fotografía treta en alguna part del Líban. Jo estic força satisfet del resultat, però ara és a vosaltres a qui us toca jutjar.

A comission

A good girlfriend of mine, who is becoming little by little the major collector of my work (!!!), asked me to paint a watercolour from a picture taken somewhere in Lebanon. I am satisfied enough with the result, but now it is your turn to judge.

Yesterday we went with La Colla to the lowest part of Les Rambles. I chose this backlight of the monument to Columbus.

Després de les vacances, que m'he passat esquiant i sense agafar un pinzell, no tinc res de nou per penjar, motiu pel qual us mostro aquesta aquarel.la antiga, bé de fa poc mes d'un any i que no us havía mostrat mai. Pertany a un carreró del barri barceloní d'Horta.

Nothing new

Hello, friends. Have all of you a good year.

After holidays, that I have spent skiing and without catching a single brush, I have nothing new to show. That is the reason why I show you this old watercolour, well from a bit more than a year, and that I had never shown to you. It belongs to an alley in the quarter of Horta, in Barcelona.
