Aquest maravellós poble de la Provença és conegut pels seus 'ocres', el color característic de la seva pedra.

This wonderful village in french Provence is well-known for its 'ochres', the characteristic colour of the stone.

Ceràmica portuguesa

Les dues ceràmiques les vaig comprar en algun viatge a Portugal i encara no les havia pintat mai. El vidre del mig el vaig comprar el la malauradament desapareguda botiga Compagnie Française de l'Orient.et de la Chine, on sempre havia trobat objectes bonics i molt pintables.

Portuguese ceramics

Both the ceramics were bought in a trip to Portugal and had yet never been painted. The glass in the middle comes from the sadly disappeared shop Compagnie Française de l'Orient.et de la Chine, where I had always found nice objects and very suitable to paint.

Quan vaig veure fa uns dies al blog de l'amic Tito Fornasiero una aquarel•la de Bellagio, vaig pensar que jo no havia pintat res d'aquesta bonica localitat del llac de Como, on vaig passar uns dies l'estiu passat, tot i la quantitat de fotos que vaig fer-hi. L'edifici blanc del primer terme és l'Hotel La Pergola, que és on estava allotjat.

Como Lake: Bellagio

After seeing some days ago on the blog of our friend Tito Fornasiero a watercolor from Bellagio, I thought that I had not painted anything from that nice village by Como Lake, where I spent some days last summer, despite of the quantity of pictures I took there. The white building is the Hotel La Pergola, where I was staying.

El dissabte en vaig pintar tres. El diumenge vaig menjar-me'n un i després en vaig pintar dos.

3 cebes

Avui no tenía massa ganes de complicar-me la vida, així que me'n he anat a la nevera i he agafat aquestes tres cebes i, sense més il•luminació que la llum que entrava per la finestra, he fet aquest bodegonet.

3 onions

Today I didn't feel like complicating my life too much, so I took from the fridge these three onions and, with no other lighting that the light coming through the window, I painted this  little still-life.

Moltes pomes

Fa uns dies, passant per davant d'una fruiteria, vaig veure aquestes pomes que estaven en oferta (a un euro el kilo!), i immediatament se'm va acudir l'idea de fer un bodegó amb moltes pomes. Després hi vaig afegir aquest cantir, la procedència del qual la Rosa, com a bona zamorana, no tardarà a endevinar.

Many apples

Some days ago, passing by a fruit shop, I saw this apples that were on offer (one euro the kilo!) and right away I had the idea of painting a still life with lots of apples. Afterwards, I added this jug whose origin Rosa, who also comes from Zamora, won't hesitate to guess.

The party is over

I painted at home this still-life that shows the way the table remains when your guests have left and it's your turn to clear out.

S'ha acabat la festa.

He pintat a casa aquest bodegó que mostra com queda la taula quan els convidats han marxat i et toca a tu recollir.

This is the last still-life I painted at the workshop with the idea of showing it at the exhibition that La Colla and l'Agrupació will open next Wednesday 26.

Després de les vacances, que m'he passat esquiant i sense agafar un pinzell, no tinc res de nou per penjar, motiu pel qual us mostro aquesta aquarel.la antiga, bé de fa poc mes d'un any i que no us havía mostrat mai. Pertany a un carreró del barri barceloní d'Horta.

Nothing new

Hello, friends. Have all of you a good year.

After holidays, that I have spent skiing and without catching a single brush, I have nothing new to show. That is the reason why I show you this old watercolour, well from a bit more than a year, and that I had never shown to you. It belongs to an alley in the quarter of Horta, in Barcelona.
